WOW, more cars. I love & see your 'old' cars, because you think back to a time when all car brands were very special, you could recognize everyone from a long distance.

This is true! There were times when I could recognise car types by the sound of the engine before they came around the corner. Times gone by...

Oh, this is bad! I have always been very lucky, too fast into the curve, then straight ahead into the forest path and so on... In 2003 it became too dangerous for me, the road traffic became more and more dense here, and there were more and more cases where others didn't respect the right of way, so I sold the Guzzi and now I'm only driving in my car.

Too bad, for a motorbike is really fun, in the summer. Mine was first & last trip, have never ridden a motorbike since, because it was really a serious crash & glad I survived.

Here are my race cars . Old Volvos was my signature for most part of my time and there is only two. I have not spent much money for cars but hours, not to count, for to maintain them. It was as a sport to make most out of them and try to take care by to do service.

First car was Volvo 144 1974. This was my car from 1982 and then it was maybe my finest car at least taken my young age then. The quality was not as good as suspected, lot of maintain was needed. In 1990 I did overhaul of cylinder head even it was not important to do. I had a choice then, as my experience opened to a classic car. Riley One Point Five 1958, I did restore it to original stand 1990-97. Lot of learning by this project. The first years it was many vintage car tours. This cars handling is special, faster than the Volvos and a great driving feeling. Brakes is extremely poor, and gearshift must be taken careful compared to modern cars.

The Volvo 245 1988 bought father as new. When he stopped driving, I bought this one in 2005. This is quite different to 144, a lot of development happened in those years. Today this is best to drive larger objects. The year 2015 came my time to get a new car, Toyota Auris TS hybrid. Less than half in gasoline consumption was interesting and the quality seems to be high. On long trips that can often happen in the dark or rain or must evade animals, this is safer. The Auris saved my life by well braking and friction once I had to brake abruptly for a moose two years ago.

As a result of safety there are poor views in modern cars, always when shifting to the old cars, it was more fun to drive in many ways. The modern has many pluses but some minus too. This year I replaced the Auris with Toyota Camry hybrid. A new era and better space inside. Except for parking, since it takes up more space, everything is improved. The three old cars are now vintage cars. I use them some days or smaller trips, preferably when the weather is nice .

70's on the colors, who would buy an orange car today Back then, an orange Volvo, it really showed you had good finances, you were in fashion & a safe car. My sister got a 245...yes in orange. A little later came an Anniversary model in silver with a gold stripe that became my dream car, but never got it. I remember a trip through Germany in my 144 when we were having an overnight stay at a Hotel, we were received as millionaires.

Like I said with French cars, also no Japanese cars, the only one (that I remember) I have tried is a Datsun 100A Cherry & we are back in the 70's Again.

I'm surprised your favorite of all your cars was a Citroen Saxo.
Maybe we are the same age, your first car was in 1973 & this was where I got my first Fiat. It was quickly switched to a 128 & I think in 76 or 1977 to a 128 3P. You switched from Italian to French, where I switched to German (many Ford (2xCapri, 2xTaunus, 3xSierra, 5xMondeo) & 1 Opel, however, also switched 3 times to Volvo) & I stay in German with cars, I have a little dream about trying Mercedes before I die. Yes there is something special about French, but have never had one.
Your VW, my mother had a 1300 in the 60's, I may have been 10 years & it was the first car I drove alone & first crash

I've gotten better with my last 3 Mondeo , but who thought of taking photos as a youngster that the cars would be classic & more of them I've had can be driven in GT Legends.

Sadly I don't have, nor never had, a 1967 car. The closest I got was my 1976 MG Midget (not mine in the picture). Fond memories
Currently I am sooo boring in my diesel astra (also not mine in the picture)

Mondeo MK4.5 2014

Ok, I start...but unfortunately I have no racing car, no matter I try to make it look like one

The car is a Ford Mondeo MK4 (after 2011 & to 2014 called MK4.5 which now switched to MK5) & this MK4.5 got a little new design & shift from Volvo to PSA engine, an engine made in collaboration between Ford & Peugoet.
At first, I didn't know if I should cry or laugh when I could see Peugoet in the engine room...on a Ford However, it runs great, especially with V-Power
The biggest surprise came when I discovered that all Ford (PSA DW10) engine was born with 163HP & whatever you buy a 140HP, 163HP software is still there
Many things have been changed on mine, LED inside & many things out, Diffuser behind & Ford metal pedals waiting to be put on. Thursday, it got 19" Ford alu rims (a rim I had never seen in reality) fitted with slightly wider tires than Ford recommends: Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 245/40/19

Actually, I don't feel good when I see old Fiat, it always reminds me of my first car I got on my 18th birthday...a Fiat 850 Special. Not quite correct, my first one was on a Friday & was red, discovered the day after it was not a Special model with more HP & got it replaced on Monday...in maybe the ugliest color in the World ...it quickly got double exhaust so you noticed more of the noise

This Forum is because we love the F1 race cars from 1967...but what are you actually driving
Your car doesn't have to be new & not a racing car, would be fun if you really have a 1967 model
You can tell how many HP your car has & if you like to run fast in reality & more.
